Hannah Bussiere Kim, or Luna Li will be welcomed to Leeds on the 11th November at the renowned Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen. With her dreamy, angelic, pop and rock fusions, we’re ecstatic to hear the kind of show she’s going to put on – will it be close and intimate or full on and packed with dancing?

During her upbringing, she learnt classical piano, transitioning into violin, and eventually incorporating harp, bass, drums, and electric guitar into her dreamy Chamber/Bedroom Pop. With gorgeous melodies and gut-punching words, the Korean-Canadian artist has not only released her meditative debut Duality this year (worked on since 2018, and complete with a beabadoobee feature), but she’s just put out her follow-up to her fantastic EP ‘jams’, titled ‘jams 2’ and available to stream now.

As DIY alt-pop continues to grow, Luna Li is a constant standout amongst the scene, and often achieving viral success.

On her new release, Luna Li commented…

“I wasn’t sure what to expect releasing the first jams EP – it felt unconventional to be releasing a collection of short looping instrumentals and it certainly wasn’t like anything I’d ever released before. This time around, I’m glad to know that these jams have a home, somewhere to land. This second short collection also features Amaria and Aaron Paris, two artists and producers I admire a lot.”

Make sure you catch the producer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and songwriter her on her UK tour, and pick up Leeds tickets here (and check out the rest of Belgrave’s remarkable calendar).
